Starting from what surrounds us and choosing to tell it with one's own perspective, one's own distance and finding one's poetry, one's prose.
To do this, Laurence Leblanc will first accompany the participants in the field, in several places that are geographically close but very different in their nature and function. Living spaces, in use or abandoned, remarkable for their heritage wealth or rigorously functional, places where one meets one's contemporaries or only a few memories of those who have passed through.
So many territories and people that will be the starting point and the pretext for a narration, sometimes starting from a simple detail, an atmosphere, a story or an encounter. A trigger because consciously or not, it will resonate with a past experience, a center of interest, a personal desire.
It will then be a question of leading an exploration guided by sensitivity, curiosity, questioning; to simply pull a thread and follow its contours, its intersections, its hooks to gradually weave a story.
The work guided by Laurence Leblanc, will go through editing sessions, to specify the approach, to look for correspondences.
Daily discussions and reflections will bring meaning, coherence, texture and then end up with a personal series that will be exhibited on the last day.
It will be about re-enchanting oneself by becoming aware of a photograph within reach.
Because photography has the capacity to be an act of communication, of transformation, special attention will be paid daily in order to weave a bond together, with others, in a constant concern for sharing and kindness.
