WINNER OF THE 2025 KERING WOMEN IN MOTION AWARD FOR THE RENCONTRES D'ARLES
Stendhal Syndrome (2024) is a slideshow that juxtaposes images Goldin has taken over the last twenty years of Classical, Renaissance, and Baroque masterpieces in dialogue with portraits of her friends and lovers. These photographs were taken during her countless visits to museums around the world, especially the Louvre, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Galleria Borghese, and Gemaldegalerie.
