GAZE AND TECHNIQUE: THE ESSENTIAL STEPS
This three-day course is designed for people who wish to assess their technical skills and feel at ease in their practice, from shooting to processing images on the computer. The main aim will be to lift obstacles, become familiar with certain settings and express a vision and creativity (and not to embark on an endless quest for technical knowledge).
After discussing each participant's experience, step one will focus on the key technical elements involved in taking photographs, namely the various combinations of shutter speed, aperture and sensitivity. Theory will quickly be followed by a hands-on exploration of the camera’s modes (manual, aperture, shutter, etc.).
Shooting will take place in real-life conditions outdoors and indoors, gradually opening up to more personal issues linked to desires, sensibility and vision. A small personal project will enable students to make technical and aesthetic choices. The second key step takes place when the files are selected and processed on the computers. We'll be talking about editing, RAW files and development. The goal is to become acquainted with a few simple adjustments that will allow us to harmonize our pictures with each other and bring them closer to the desired result.
The workshop is held in French
