Le jardin d'Hannibal - Marine Lanier
The garden of hannibal (Le jardin d'Hannibal)
Inspired by our organic relationship with nature and the elements, Marine Lanier observes the behavior of plants and the activities of gardeners, scientists and researchers at the Lautaret garden, the highest in Europe. Home to Alpine plants and essences from all over the world, it was created as part of the "Flying Alpine" operation, which aims to find solutions for adapting to climate change - with a view to global warming of 2 to 3 degrees by 2100. The photographer plays with light, freeing herself from notions of reality and imagination to produce monochrome, organic images worthy of a mythological, ecological tale.
