WORKSHOP SCHEDULE
MONDAY – WRITING WITH LIGHT
Children can explore the principles of photography from the earliest technical discoveries, including the camera obscura. This is an opportunity for them to have fun while exploring history and making their own photographs. They play and write with light during a time devoted to light painting.
TUESDAY – MAKING IMAGES SPEAK
What happens when photographs meet each other? What superpowers do they acquire when they interact? They can make you scared, laugh, believe, dream… This workshop combines photographic discoveries with the visual arts to create a unique world.
WEDNESDAY – PHOTOGRAPHING WITH THE SUN
In this exciting, almost magical workshop, children make their own prints and original compositions. A mediator accompanies them as they play apprentice chemists and use sunlight to reveal the Prussian blue characteristic of the cyanotype, one of the oldest photographic processes.
THURSDAY – PHOTO REMIX
The children assemble, cut up, construct, transform and deconstruct images from festival exhibitions and various graphic sources to make new creations, giving them an opportunity to question the images that surround us every day.
FRIDAY – AN IDEAL TOMORROW!
Using techniques borrowed from animation, the children step into the shoes of photographers, prop managers and extras to show what their “ideal tomorrow” would look like. In this fun workshop, they invent new worlds through small sketches.
